Aarón Palacio Triumphs in Seville with Two Ears in an Afternoon of Grit and Truth. Aragonese novice bullfighter Aarón Palacio shines at La Maestranza with a brave and composed performance, cutting an ear from each of his Fuente Ymbro bulls in a varied and demanding second novillada of the season.

The Sevillian matador delivered an afternoon of commitment, finesse and truth before a demanding Miura bull run, cutting two ears and signing off as the last great triumph of the 2025 Feria de Abril in the Maestranza.

The matador from Huelva cuts three ears in an afternoon marked by poise, finesse, and emotion, becoming the first bullfighter to exit through the Puerta del Príncipe at this year’s Feria de Abril.

On 9 May in Seville, Daniel Luque and Tomás Rufo stood out in a varied Garcigrande bullfight, each earning a trophy. Morante, in his farewell performance of the fair, enchanted the crowd with his artistry, though the sword denied him a prize.

The matador from Gerena emerged as the standout performer in the Victorino Martín bullfight, cutting two ears from the imposing bull Mosquetón, who was awarded a lap of honour. Luque showed flashes of brilliance, while El Cid left empty-handed.

Seville’s own Borja Jiménez delivers a standout performance with the sixth bull, cutting the only two ears of a disappointing afternoon marred by the dullness of the Jandilla herd. Castella and Manzanares left without reward.

The torero from La Puebla del Río emerged as the triumphant star of the May 1st corrida at La Maestranza, in an afternoon where both Ortega and Aguado also impressed with the cape.

The Cádiz-born matador delivered two high-level performances worthy of trophies, but missed with the sword. El Fandi stood out in the banderillas and gave an electrifying performance with the fourth bull. Ginés Marín left empty-handed with the weakest pair of the lot.
