The three matadors delivered an intense and varied afternoon, each awarded one ear after moments of high-quality bullfighting in a sold-out arena.

The tenth corrida of the season subscription delivered an afternoon rich in nuance and emotion, with three performances that kept the crowd fully engaged throughout. Morante de la Puebla,José María Manzanaresand Alejandro Talavante each secured an ear, recognising their commitment and the most inspired moments of the day.

The event began with early complications, as the first bull was returned and replaced by a reserve animal that proved serious and reserved. Morante relied on his experience from the outset, crafting a performance full of rhythm and artistry, particularly on the right hand, where he produced his deepest muletazos. A missed sword stroke prevented a trophy, yet his performance left a strong artistic impression.

The fourth bull offered redemption. Morante created a highly aesthetic display, beginning with elegant passes held high and continuing with a powerful first right-handed series that stirred the stands. Although the bull faded, the matador maintained artistic control, especially on the natural passes, showing determination after a stumble. An effective sword thrust earned him a well-requested ear.

Manzanares delivered a serious and composed performance with the second bull. His verónicas were smooth and measured, and with the muleta he linked three right-handed series of notable fluency. The bull weakened on the left side, but the Alicante-born matador returned to the right to shape the strongest moments of his work. A perfectly executed kill secured him an ear.

With the fifth bull, Manzanares again displayed elegance from the start. The animal demanded precision in rhythm and distance, and the performance grew notably on the natural side, where he achieved some of the most refined passes of the afternoon. An initial mistake with the sword limited the reward, although the ovation was unanimous.

Talavante experienced a demanding day. In the third bull, marked by the injury to banderillero Javier Ambel, the Extremaduran matador produced isolated highlights on the right hand, though the bull never fully developed. A decisive sword thrust closed the performance, which was received in silence.

The sixth bull provided his moment to shine. Talavante welcomed it with a varied cape display and began the muleta work on his knees, immediately igniting the arena. The Olga Jiménez bull showed quality, allowing the matador to link powerful series on both sides with strong audience connection. Even when the bull lost intensity, Talavante maintained momentum until the final sword. A strong petition for two ears followed, though the president granted one.

The afternoon, played out before a complete sell-out crowd, also included the medical report for Javier Ambel, who suffered a goring to the right thigh and was transferred to hospital with a less serious prognosis.

Medical report - Javier Ambel:

Goring to the right thigh with an upward trajectory between rectus femoris and vastus medialis, 30 cm skin detachment without vascular damage.
