Just three months after his retirement, the Seville-born matador has committed himself to the cause and will be the first bullfighter to make the ceremonial entrance in the new era of the historic arena. Seville’s Real Maestranza celebrated a sold-out charity festival where Talavante stood out as the evening’s great star, closing the season with brilliance and emotion.

The final corrida of San Miguel was sold out, but the Núñez del Cuvillo bulls prevented major triumphs. Morante and debutant Zulueta provided the standout moments.

The opening corrida of the San Miguel Fair delivered intensity and demand with Victoriano del Río bulls. Juan Ortega and David de Miranda both claimed an ear before a sold-out crowd in Seville.

One ear for Valentín Hoyos and another for Fabio Jiménez in the closing novice bullfight of the season, marked by commitment from the youngsters and a serious injury to banderillero ‘El Topas’.

The Seville-born novillero emerged as the standout name of the fifth novillada of the season ticket series after cutting an ear from a quality Murteira Grave youngster in a varied contest.

The Aragonese novillero claimed one ear in the fourth novillada of the season ticket series, the first evening event of the cycle, in a contest marked by an uneven run of young bulls.

The Huelva-born novillero delivered the strongest performance of the competition, claiming victory after cutting two ears in an emotional and committed final.

Aarón Palacio Triumphs in Seville with Two Ears in an Afternoon of Grit and Truth. Aragonese novice bullfighter Aarón Palacio shines at La Maestranza with a brave and composed performance, cutting an ear from each of his Fuente Ymbro bulls in a varied and demanding second novillada of the season.

The Sevillian matador delivered an afternoon of commitment, finesse and truth before a demanding Miura bull run, cutting two ears and signing off as the last great triumph of the 2025 Feria de Abril in the Maestranza.

The matador from Huelva cuts three ears in an afternoon marked by poise, finesse, and emotion, becoming the first bullfighter to exit through the Puerta del Príncipe at this year’s Feria de Abril.
